The course teaches the manager everything about the management and maintenance of the installation and the associated tasks such as:

  • The fire alarm system, its technology and how it works
  • The operation, periodic inspection and preventive maintenance of the installation in accordance with NEN standards
  • Regulations, requirements and documents according to the NEN standardisation
  • Recording and reporting in the logbook

For whom?

The course is for employees appointed to manage and maintain the fire alarm and evacuation system. This could be, for example, the in-house emergency response workers, but this is not essential. No separate prior training is required for this course.

Duration and location

The fire alarm system manager course consists of a combination of learning theory, practising practical situations, a homework assignment and concludes with an exam. The course lasts 8 hours and is held at FeniksGroup’s location. During this day, we train the skills and go through the theory. In addition, the course member spends about 4 hours on a homework assignment. This assignment can be done at home or at work. The course concludes with an exam. If the final result is positive, the course member receives the Fire Alarm System Operator certificate.
